PARISH MISSION STATEMENT

Our Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick is a life-giving sanctuary for all people. Our community welcomes and involves parishioners and visitors at the varying stages of their faith journey. We share a common goal of living our Baptismal promises and embracing the mission of Jesus.

As a community of faith, in line with the Pastoral Directions of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan, we commit ourselves:
to act for social justice: to be just
to respect and honor other Faith Traditions: to be ecumenical
to promote and celebrate life-giving Liturgy: to be prayerful
to evangelize Australian life and culture: to be prophetic
to promote and undertake education in Faith and Spirituality: to be faithful
to implement effective Pastoral Leadership structures: to be responsible.
